Economy in Temtem is one of the most important things to understand if you want to build a good strategic team. And with good reason: breeding costs a lot of money! Find out all you need to know in this guide.
What's the money in Temtem for?
Currently, the money in Temtem is used to buy items (Temcards, potions etc..), clothes or hairstyles in the Shops, but especially to make Breeding and try to obtain perfect creatures (with the 6 statistics at maximum). Later, with the updates and the end of the early access, the money will also allow you to buy a house for example.
How to get money easily in Temtem?
Throughout your adventure, you will earn money by winning battles against NPCs you encounter or completing side quests. You can also sell items, such as Fragments, which earn 299 Pansuns each.
But once you've completed the three Early Access Islands, the best way to get money is to free creatures. This 'movement' is called the Freetem and it's on the second island that you will hear about it.
Freetem: how to free a Temtem?
Releasing Temtem is currently the best way to make money. The amount received depends on the rarity of the Temtem and its level.
- Catch a Temtem
- Click on Release directly from your team (or from the Temporium computer).
- After releasing several of them, go see the leader of the Freetem movement. She is located in the Superior Omnimesia, in the building with the symbol of Victory (next to the DayCare).
Temtem making the most money
The best Time/Money ratio is possible by catching two Temtem: Ukama and Magmis.
Shuine is also one of the most money making Temtem but it's very rare and you will lose time.
Water Type
Where to find it : in Tucma (third island) in the Cenote (kind of small underground island)
Spawn rate: 55%.
Money: 149 pansuns for a Level 30
Fire Type
Where to find it: in the Anak Volcano on the second island.
Spawn rate: 80%.
Money: 65 pansuns for a Level 30
Water and Crystal types
Where to find it : in Tucma (third island) in the Cenote (kind of small underground island)
Spawn rate: 5%.
Money: 245 pansuns for a Level 30
Best teams to catch Temtem
Once you've found the right place to farm money, make sure you have a team (or a duo) that can help you catch Temtem easily.
To catch Ukama
A compo with two Kinu is probably the best. The Kinu must possess the Benefactor Trait and the moves: Sharp Leaf and Hypnosis.
Where to find it: In Omnimesia, in the Great Banian (on the second island)
Spawn rate: 5%.
Trait: Benefactor (Restores 10% of maximum HPs when an ally takes damage.)
To catch Magmis
A team with 2 Wiplump is ideal.
Where to find it: the best spawn rate is in the Cenote (on the third island).
Spawn rate at the Cenote: 40%.
Important Items
To maximise your chances of catching Temtem that give a lot of money, you should consider equipping your Temtem with two items:
- The Clover: it increases the rate of capture.
- The Decoy: it allows to flee from undesirable fights.
Freetem Quests
In addition to earning money, you can also earn rewards based on the number of Temtem released. Be careful, your number of released Temtem resets every week! Here are the different quests you have to complete to get the rewards:
