Mythril Rod

This staff is one of the best in the game, and brings some immense magic power as well as boosting defensive capabilities. Also, the Ray of Judgement ability is very powerful.

  • How to get the Mythril Rod: You will find the Mythril Rod in the Switchyard 2 (Section C) area of the Train Graveyard. After you've headed through a train, head to the right through another train instead of following the story path up a ladder. If you've gone too far, you'll have to deal with couple of Cripshays. Knock them over, and backtrack to find the purple chest.
  • Weapon Ability: Ray of Judgment — Fire an energy burst that hits multiple times. Increased stagger damage bonus. Costs 2 ATB.
