Strategies for the Start of the Match
Players spawn on opposite sides of the map near either A or C. Immediately capture the position near your spawn, but don’t worry about most of your team sprinting away. It’s fine if only one player sticks around since the enemy won’t reach the position by the time it is captured. While it’s possible for enemies to eventually enter the area, it’s not likely this early on.
Talk to your team and take different routes to B. Capturing neutral positions nets extra experience points, but don’t let that mislead you into sliding straight into death traps. B is the hotspot of the map. Expect explosives and stray bullets most of the match.
Let’s use Checkmate as an example. B is tucked away in the middle of the map at the center of the airplane. Send someone up the stairs and straight toward it. They should hold their ground inside the objective either in the table compartment or the narrow split section with the long line of sight depending on which side you enter to stay alive and fire back with less risk. Meanwhile, other players can flank. Someone hops onto the side of the wing to enter at the center of the plane and another stays back on the exterior with a ranged weapon to prevent the other team from reinforcing the middle of the map.
In this case, the enemy sprinted to B and is about to capture it. Fortunately, your team took all of those routes and surrounded them. They can’t cover all of their blindspots at once, so the objective is yours.
