Pokémon Unite: List of playable Pokémon

Pokémon Unite, the new MOBA-style entry to the Pokémon franchise, allows players to pick up one of several Pokémon and join in with 3v3, 4v4 or 5v5 team battles.

List of Playable Pokémon

Currently, there are 30 playable Pokémon in Pokémon Unite, as of December 20, 2021.

These are divided into five role types.

Pokémon Unite

Attackers

Pokémon that have low Endurance and excel at dealing heavy ranged damage to opponents.

Alolan Ninetales

Difficulty: Intermediate

-- Starts as Alolan Vulpix

-- Evolves into Alolan Ninetales at Level 4

Cinderace

Difficulty: Novice

-- Begins as Scorbunny

-- Evolves into Raboot at Level 5

-- Evolves into Cinderace at Level 7

Cramorant

Difficulty: Expert

Does not evolve

Decidueye

Difficulty: Intermediate

-- Begins as Rowlet

-- Evolves into Dartrix at Level 4

-- Evolves into Decidueye at Level 7

Gardevoir

Difficulty: Intermediate

-- Starts as Ralts

-- Evolves into Kirlia at Level 6

-- Evolves into Gardevoir at Level 10

Greninja

Difficulty: Expert

-- Begins as Froakie

-- Evolves into Frogadier at Level 5

-- Evolves into Greninja at Level 7

Pikachu

Difficulty: Novice

Does not evolve

Sylveon

Difficulty: Intermediate

-- Starts as Eevee

-- Evolves into Sylveon at Level 4

Venusaur

Difficulty: Intermediate

-- Starts as Bulbasaur

-- Evolves into Ivysaur at Level 5

-- Evolves into Venusaur at Level 9

Defenders

Pokémon that have high Endurance and excel at protecting allies and hindering opponents.

Blastoise

Difficulty: Intermediate

-- Starts as Squirtle

-- Evolves into Wartortle at Level 5

-- Evolves into Blastoise at Level 9

Crustle

Difficulty: Novice

-- Starts as Dwebble

-- Evolves into Crustle at Level 4

Greedent

Difficulty: Expert

-- Starts as Skwovet

-- Evolves into Greedent at Level 5

Mamoswine

Difficulty: Intermediate

-- Starts as Swinub

-- Evolves into Piloswine at Level 6

-- Evolves into Mamoswine at Level 10

Slowbro

Difficulty: Intermediate

-- Starts as Slowpoke

-- Evolves into Slowbro at Level 4

Snorlax

Difficulty: Novice

Does not evolve

Speedsters

Pokémon that have high Mobility and Offense and excel at making quick attacks and scoring points.

Absol

Difficulty: Expert

Does not evolve

Gengar

Difficulty: Expert

-- Evolves into Haunter at Level 5

Talonflame

Difficulty: Novice

-- Starts as Fletchling

-- Evolves into Fletchinder at Level 5

-- Evolves into Talonflame at Level 7

Zeraora

Difficulty: Expert

Does not evolve

Supporters

Pokémon that provide team support by inflicting status conditions on opponents and by healing allies.

Blissey

Difficulty: Novice

-- Starts as Chansey

-- Evolves into Blissey at Level 4

Eldegoss

Difficulty: Novice

-- Starts as Gossifleur

-- Evolves into Eldegoss at Level 4

Mr. Mime

Difficulty: Intermediate

Does not evolve

Wigglytuff

Difficulty: Intermediate

-- Evolves into Wigglytuff at Level 4

All-Rounders

Pokémon that have balanced Offense and Endurance and are highly tenacious fighters.

Charizard

Difficulty: Novice

-- Starts as Charmander

-- Evolves into Charmeleon at Level 4

-- Evolves into Charizard at Level 9

Dragonite

-- Starts as Dratini

-- Evolves into Dragonair at Level 5

-- Evolves into Dragonite at Level 10

Garchomp

Difficulty: Intermediate

-- Starts as Gible

-- Evolves into Gabite at Level 6

-- Evolves into Garchomp at Level 10

Lucario

Difficulty: Expert

Does not evolve

Machamp

Difficulty: Intermediate

-- Starts as Machop

-- Evolves into Machoke at Level 5

-- Evolves into Machamp at Level 9

Tsareena

Difficulty: Expert

-- Starts as Bounsweet

-- Evolves into Steenee at Level 4

-- Evolves into Tsareena at Level 6
