In order to build the Fermenter in Valheim, you’ll need to make sure you’ve built your Forge, Charcoal Kiln and Smelter.
Craft the Fermenter
The Fermenter needs to be sheltered in order to work – you’ll also need a Cauldron (10 x Tin) to be able to create bases and craft potions.

The Fermentation Timer
Each mead base takes two in-game day and night cycles or approximately 1 hour in real time, and you will get six potions for each base.
