Season 3 of Warzone sparked a significant change in the battle royale's metagame thanks to Raven Software implementing a number of changes across a range of weaponry.
While a lot of Black Ops weaponry received some kind of buff or nerf, the selection of Modern Warfare weaponry remained untouched, leading to some players switching back to weapons that dominated Warzone during the early seasons.
