Biomutant allows you to explore a post-apocalyptic open world where different harmful elements can kill you. Your objective will be to spend as little time as possible in these areas contaminated by various pollutions, or to equip yourself properly to face them.
When you enter a freezing zone for the first time, you will unlock a side quest. This is the case for every harmful effect in the game (heat, hypoxia, and so on).
By completing this quest, you will unlock special equipment that will help you resist the Cold effect.
How to get the Cold Zone Suit
When the side quest starts, follow the path until you reach the Pingdish. Be careful, the area is full of enemies and turrets.
Once you have found the Pingdish, you will have to align the transmitters in order to get a signal. This signal will allow you to locate the suit.
Turn the dish until you match the outside nobs to their respective color — you'll hear vibrations or sounds — and then activate it. Point it West until you find the transmessage that'll show you Bangshelter 10E.
Upon entering the building, you will find the Cold Zone Suit
This rare equipment will allow you to greatly improve your cold resistance percentage, making it an ideal ally for exploring the cold zones.
