Season 5 of Call of Duty Warzone and Black Ops Cold War is finally here, and with it a raft of new content. Among the new items in game is the EM2, a new fully automatic sniper rifle.
The British rifle appears to be strong, based on its early days, and seems to fill the hole that the DMR 14 left after Verdansk 84. Naturally, this is not good news!
How to unlock the EM2 in Season 5
In short, you'll get this rifle for free for reaching Level 15 of the Battle Pass, so all it takes is a little grinding.
It remains to be seen how the EM2 will perform on the battlefield, but what strikes us the most is the precision which comes as standard. It also appears to be an immenselty powerful rifle, one that causes a lot of damage.
New weapons generally come to the game a little broken and overpowered, which might be a tactic to encourage players to purchase the Battle Pass and grind the levels to obtain them.
It remains to be seen what changes to the weapon will come down the line, should it prove just a little too powerful for the developers.
Season 5 of Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War will start tomorrow, August 13, and a trailer has revealed some of what we can unlock through the new battle pass.
