Runes
Core Items
Build
Luden's Tempest is a core item for most midlane mages, and LeBlanc is no different.
Cosmic Drive synergises well with the Electrocute rune, for damage and move speed, and is generally a solid mage item.
Other good choices include Void Staff, Zhonya's Hourglass, and Shadowflame.
Starting Item & Boots
Skill Order
While your choices may differ according to how the game progresses, the typical LeBlanc skill priority is:
R > W > Q > E
Summoner Spells
These are the summoner spells most typically taken by LeBlanc in this role. Naturally, this may change depending on match-ups.
Gameplay
LeBlanc plays like an AP assassin, diving in and dealing incredible amounts of burst damage - while being incredibly squishy. Howeverm, she does have excellent escape capabilities.
- Level 1 - Take W - Distortion, for strong early game poke and burst damage on minions.
- Level 2 - Take Q - Sigil of Malice, for enhanced poke and detonation damage.
- First Back - Work towards your Luden's Tempest with a Lost Chapter, which gives mana sustain too.
Tips & Tricks
- LeBlanc's bread-and-butter combo is W > Q + R > E > W, which allows you to dive in, burst down, and get out again. Practice this often!
- If you don't have enough damage for an assassination, use E + R to immobilize your target for a teammate to take down.
- Remember, you can control your clone using Alt + Right Click. Use this to trick enemies.
- Sigil of Malice has a low cooldown, so use it often to clear minion waves alongside the W+R combo.
- Your Ethereal Chains will continue even when in stasis, such as under the effects of Zhonya's Hourglass.
