The latest 3D game from Nintendo and HAL Laboratory has just been released this Friday, March 25, 2022. The opportunity for you to let yourself be tempted by this adorable Kirby and The Forgotten World but, before that, you would probably like to know its lifespan. Following our test of the game, we invite you to discover in detail how long it takes to complete each part of this title with colorful graphics. We will simply avoid giving too many details so as not to spoil you.
How long to finish the new Kirby on Switch?
Whether in easy or hard mode, the main scenario of Kirby and The Forgotten World offers you to visit several Worlds with different biomes (plains, beaches, volcanoes, etc.) and each has its own levels. In each stage, you must complete hidden missions and free as many Waddle-Dees as possible!
- Takes approximately 10 hours to complete the main storyline (normal worlds and levels only),
- Once the main scenario is over, you will access a much more complex end-game, adding long hours of additional play.
A ton of other side activities
In addition to the main scenario and the end-game, many other activities can extend the life of this Kirby in 3D. We are thinking in particular of the Treasure Road bonus levels which are mandatory if you then want to improve your powers. A sort of race against time, you must use Kirby's various powers methodically to succeed.
All the Waddle-Dees that you save in the levels allow you to expand your Village. On site, you can then unlock many buildings, some of which are entirely dedicated to mini-games. The biggest structure is none other than the Colosseum which gives you the opportunity to fight waves of Bosses to finish in style against Meta-Knight.
Knowing that all of this is doable in two-player local co-op , you can spend time in the mini-games or redo the levels of the main road to find as many coins as possible which will then allow you to buy figurines. These trophies then feed your collection much like on Super Smash Bros. (thank you Mr. Sakurai!).
In short, Kirby and The Forgotten World offers a good lifespan and its simplicity is compensated by the difficulty of the end-game.
