Pokémon GO Kanto Cup: The best team to use to roll over your opponents

Pokémon GO Kanto Cup: The best team to use to roll over your opponents
0

Season 11 of Pokémon GO battles is still ongoing, and this time you can participate in the Kanto Cup. Here are the best 1G Pokémon to use.

Season 11 of battles continues on Pokémon GO and the rotation of events took place this April 26, 2022. Now, you can participate in the Master League but also in the Kanto Cup to try to collect rewards. If this is your first time playing GO Battles, don't panic! All you have to do is click on the Pokéball in the menu and then on the "combat" icon. There, you can participate at any time by clicking on "fight" and then selecting the event that interests you. The game will then automatically present your best Pokémon with the necessary prerequisites or those that you have put in a team. So be sure to check it out so you don't get tricked. A match can then start and you will have to face a random trainer in the world. The more wins you get, the more rewards you get.

How to participate in the Kanto Cup on Pokémon GO?

  • Event Dates: April 26 to May 3, 2022

Pokémon GO Kanto Cup: The best team to use

As you can imagine, it is almost impossible to predict what random opponents will take as Pokémon in their teams. Unlike Raids where we can tell you exactly which Pokémon to use to defeat overpowered Legendaries (thanks to weak types in particular), it's different for GO Battles like the Kanto Cup. That being said, the selection here is reduced to 151 1G creatures and monsters below 1500CP. So here are some tips to help you easily beat other players:

  • Remember to choose three Pokémon of different types and/or attacks of different types,
  • Unlock the second charged attack on the Pokemon you want to use.

Here are several compositions that can be interesting to play in the Kanto Cup:

  • Lickitung with Lick (fast attack) + Tackle and Megawhip (charged attacks). It resists the Specter type very well and is weak against the Fighting type.
  • Nidoqueen with Direct Toxik (fast attack) + Venom Hook and Telluriforce (charged attacks). It resists Bug , Electric , Fairy , Fighting , Poison , and Rock types well, but is weak against Ground , Ice , Psychic , and Water types.
  • Hypno with Mind Shock (fast attack) + Fire Fist and Shadow Ball (charged attacks). It resists Fighting and Psychic -types well, but is weak against Bug , Dark, and Ghost -types.
