Disney Dreamlight Valley was released on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in Early Access on all platforms. The opportunity for you to discover this magical world and restore it by finding lost Disney and Pixar characters. All means are good: whether it's exploring the open world by unlocking the passages of nocturnal thorns thanks to the Dreamlight, or going through the castle and its magic paintings. Tons of other activities like fishing, harvesting or decorating are also on the agenda and whether you are at the beginning of the game or already at the end, here are the things you must not forget to do every day. .
Take care of the crops
The first thing to do directly is to take a Character whose profession is Gardening with you. Go around your crops to pick them up or water them if they have withered overnight. Why do this first? Because while you do the rest of your routine, the plants can grow and you can end your day by going to water the plants that require twice the water or simply replanting for the next day. This is particularly important for planting pumpkins (plant - wait 2 hours - water - wait 2 hours - harvest) which will give you a huge amount of money.
Also remember to harvest all the plants from Wall-E's Garden. But also to make yourself an orchard with all the fruit trees available in order to harvest all the fruits: you can sell them and advance your Dreamlight achievements thanks to this.
Feed the Critters
Now go to each of the biomes in the game and feed the 2 or 3 critters there. On Sunday , it is important to do it in the morning but also in the afternoon because the critters change at noon. This day is also an excellent way to come across animals that you would have missed during the week. By giving their favorite food to the Critters, you can have a chance to obtain them as a Companion (a pet that follows you) but especially to obtain Patterns of clothing, furniture or dream shards.
Harvest fish from Moana
Whether your boat is fully upgraded or not, don't forget to go and harvest the fish that Moana caught during the day if you can only log into the game once a day. This will allow you to have seaweed quite easily but also many useful seafood for making recipes. At max level, the chance to get rare fish like Fugu or Walleye are improved so don't miss this chance. You can resell the fish if you have already made all the recipes, but remember to keep the Sturgeons to feed the Foxes, the seaweed for the Turtles or the Squid for the Crocodiles.
Go see what Eric sells
Eric is logically the last character you will manage to unlock in Dreamlight Valley because the conditions are quite long: you must first complete all of Ursula's quests and then Ariel's quests before hearing about it. This therefore implies having finished that of the Mysterious Wreck and having raised the level of friendship of the only two characters remaining in the water and therefore impossible to have as companions.
Once you have advanced a little with Eric (level 7), you will unlock a fabulous cartography stand which will allow you to buy maps ! These plans can then be used directly via your Workbench to craft rare and very beautiful furniture.
Visit Scrooge's Shop
Once your fish and all your pumpkins are sold, you will have plenty of Star Coins to spend. That's good, Scrooge's Store stock changes every day, so you can buy great furniture and clothes from different collections. If like me you have finished the game, all you have to do is decorate a little and buy all the possible objects. Be careful however, do not use Time Travel (changing the day and time of your Nintendo Switch console), this will damage your data and cause you bugs such as the fact that the resources on the ground do not reappear more.
Increase the friendship of your characters
If you are not yet at level 10 of friendship with each of the characters, obviously remember to have the daily discussion with them but also to offer them the 3 favorite gifts . Make a list by going directly to view the gifts they want in your Character Collection: no need to talk to them to identify the required gifts.
Find all 3 daily chests
Every day, a blue chest allows you to get 10 Moon Stones, the premium in-game currency. A green chest is also available and allows you to get a piece of furniture, clothing, coins or a pattern. The third is not actually a chest but rather a Nocturnal Thorn: you have 10 of them that regrow every day and one of them will trigger the mini-game where you have to collect the coins in the allotted time. If you succeed, you will get a yellow chest with extra money in it.
