By pre-ordering or simply by purchasing Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you could receive exclusive bonuses to be redeemed directly in your game. To do this, you must unlock the Mystery Gift menu and enter the codes that you logically received by email (or printed via the physical edition).
How to unlock the Mystery Gift menu?
Just like the multiplayer functions, the Mystery Gift menu is unlocked when you visit your first Pokémon Center at the start of the adventure.
At the end of the "tutorial", you can then open your main menu (via the X button) and click on the Poké Portal option. At the very bottom, you will then see "Mystery Gifts". Click on it to select "via code or password".

In November 2022, here is the list of French codes giving rewards and their conditions of obtaining. As a reminder, these are unique codes that you must retrieve either by email (Nintendo eShop purchase) or in your game box.

Obtain the special Pikachu
Unlike gift codes offering adventure items, the special Flying-type Teracristallized Pikachu is obtained by clicking on the "Via Internet" option. Nintendo Switch Online membership not required. You will receive the Pikachu directly in one of the boxes on your PC!
