Cooking is one of 12 professions in World of Warcraft Classic, being one of the three Secondary Professions. The easiest way to start learning Cooking is to simply talk to a guard in any Capital City. They will give you directions to a Cooking Trainer who will help you get started.
It's a good idea to combine Fishing with Cooking, as the former provides easy access to ingredients.
Why Choose Cooking?
Every Class in the game can get great use out of Cooking, as it can be learned alongside two Primary Professions. If you've got a bit of time to kill, it's well worth using it to level your Cooking skill. Given that Rogues and Warriors have limited access to healing, Cooking is indispensable as allows them to recover between monsters, making Cooking an essential part of the levelling process for these classes.
Levelling Cooking and Fishing simultaneously is a great idea, as numerous recipes require fish, saving you from having to purchase ingredients unnecessarily.
