Blackfathom Deeps (BFD) is a Dungeon in World of Warcraft Classic which can be accessed from Level 22. The entrance to the instance is in Ashenvale and is visible from the surrounding zone.
Before an unfortunate disaster, Blackfathom Deeps was a lavish temple dedicated to the worship of the Night Elf goddess of the moon, Elune. It was submerged under the waters of the Veiled Sea during the Great Fracture. For a while, the temple lay dormant under the waves, until Naga and Satyrs were drawn to the secret ancient power it contained, making it their home. Legend has it that the ancient beast Aku'mai resides within the temple. Formerly the favourite pet of the primordial Old Gods, Aku'mai is a plague on the surrounding areas and must finally be stopped. Unfortunately, this will not be an easy task, as Twilight Hammer cultists also live in the the deeps, basking in the Old God's evil presence.
Dungeon Location
Blackfathom Deeps is a Level 20 Dungeon, but you should be at least Level 25 to tackle it.
The Dungeon is located in the contested zone of Ashenvale, on its north-west coast.
