Zelda Breath of the Wild: Ruby Farm

In the middle of the night, you will sometimes come across shooting stars: take a good look at their trajectory and try to reach it (they are visible from a distance thanks to a halo of light). These little comets are actually star fragments (hey Super Mario Galaxy) that you can sell for 300 rubies. It's always good to take!

Hyrule's encyclopedia as a support

After your visit to Hateno, you will have access to the camera rune. This last one will be very useful, since it will allow you to adjust your radar on any type of component. So, all you have to do is set it to (randomly) Luminous veins to find them easily. For the record, the detector is quite powerful and you may have to follow the path for several hundred meters until you will reach it.

The trade-off

Some NPCs will prove to be fond of certain types of objects, which they will take back from you at a very good price, such as the quest of the Zora Domain which will exchange 10 Luminous stones for two diamonds costing 500 rubies (only when the quest is validated). Another good example is this Gerudo woman who hangs out in Goron Village and offers to take back lots of precious stones from you at a more expensive price than in store. As usual, we therefore advise you to talk to all the villagers and travelers whose paths you will cross. They could offer you nice opportunities to fill your wallet.

Fortune rabbit

There is a small and rare animal that hangs out in the forests of Hyrule at night and releases many rubies every time you touch it. Hunting it will require a lot of discretion, so we recommend that you use the stealth set (available at Kakariko Village) and eat silent food to avoid being spotted.

Dog Treasures

At each stable or in each village, doggies are waiting impatiently for you to feed them. As we told you in our beginner's guide, doggies don't have to be asked to find some precious treasures. Thanks to the latter, you will very frequently come across 100 or even 300 rubies. Feel free to go back to the dogs and feed them!
