After making WoW Classic players wait several weeks, Blizzard finally elected to let players transfer their characters from one server to another, all for the modest sum of $25 per character.
The option to purchase a transfer can be found in the in-game store, or in the Battle.net Launcher.
Here are the current restrictions on transfers:
- Players must wait 90 days after transferring a character before they can be transferred again.
- The amount of gold kept when transferring is limited by the following level ranges:
- Level 1-30: up to 100 gold
- Level 31-50: up to 500 gold
- Level 51-60: up to 2,000 gold
- Characters can not be transferred from PvE to PvP servers or from RP to RP-PvP realms.
