The competition usually only remembers its winners, who lift cups and get the medals. However, there are also people who have made history in much more different and even more complex ways than winning a few games. Maria "Remilia" Creveling, the first woman and the first transgender person to play an official match in the League of Legends Championship Series has passed away.
Depression, rejection of a part of the community and the problems whith her former team were examples of a life too complicated for someone who left her mark on the LoL esports scene. This was made official through her social network account, by one of her best friends and one of the people who knew her best, journalist Richard Lewis.
Rest in peace, Remilia.
