Starting this afternoon, a new event will begin on Pokémon GO. Get your incubators and eggs ready, as you'll have to travel long distances to collect precious rewards like a Unova Stone!

Pokemon GO: Hatchathon 2020 event

The famous Hatchathon event is back on Pokémon GO this year. From Thursday, January 2, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. to Thursday, January 16, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8), you can enjoy bonuses :

  • 2020 Glasses in the Clothing Shop
  • Hatching Candy x2
  • Star Dust on Hatching x2
  • Pokémon with a party hat (wild and egg)

To get the special rewards, you have to walk 50km with the Adventure Sync:

Heatran will be available in 5 Star Raids on Pokémon GO! You'll be able to catch its shiny version and it will replace Virizion. Here are some tips to how to beat it.
