If there's one VR title that is highly expected in the following months, it's Half-Life: Alyx. The famous successful Valve franchise returns after 13 years of absence on March 3, 2020 on Valve Index, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and WMR. It will feature the resistant Alyx Vance in her fight against the alien invasion during the 20 years between Half-Life and Half-Life 2, where she appears alongside Gordon Freeman. In the meantime, Valve News Network is bringing us nine new, previously unreleased images from the game that have leaked out.
These seem not only to confirm the promised quality of the title in terms of detail and play of light, but also bring some new insights. For example, we notice an unusual uniform worn by the Combine soldiers and we can see the Source Engine error logo on a metal door as well as a cage, underground environments and a channel that could have spoilt us, according to the leak's author, if he hadn't cut the image.
And while the hype is undoubtedly already there, there's no doubt that it will be kept afloat throughout the two months that still separate us from the game's release with the regular release of new images and other exciting information.
