All prestige edition event skins will be available again at the end of the year in the shop.

Prestige edition borders & icons

League of Legends

The 2020 Prestige Edition skins will have a new border to differentiate them from last year's skins. Each skin will also have its own unique Summoner icon. By unlocking a 2020 Prestige Edition skin with Prestige Points or Event Tokens, you will always get the new border and unique icon for that skin.

Unlocking a 2020 Prestige Edition skin via loot or skin fragment re-rolls will only grant the border and icon if the skin is still accessible via 2020 Prestige Points or Event Tokens.

Deadlines for borders and icons:

  • Prestige Edition Skins: January 28, 2021
  • Prestige Edition Skins available through events: When the tokens expire from your inventory (these skins will come back in the shop at the end of the year)

Miscellaneous:

  • You can start earning 2020 Prestige Points from the Hextech Chests today. The 2020 Prestige Points will expire on January 28, 2021.
  • 2019 Prestige Points will expire and shop bundles will be deactivated on 3 February 2020, so don't forget to use them!
The Mecha Kingdoms event has begun!

Riot have released a short teaser featuring Jax and a new family of skins — the Mecha Kingdoms. They're now available alongside a brand new event!
