To celebrate Homestand Weekends, Blizzard has created 20 custom tags exclusive to each team in the Overwatch League. These sprays are inspired by the colors, logos, and home cities of the teams. They will be distributed in two batches of 10 throughout the season.
Players who come to support a team at one of the Homestands Weekends will be able to claim in-game tags. If you attend a home game, you will receive the host team tag, but you will also receive the tags of the other nine teams for a total of 10 tags!
For example, if you attend Paris Eternal Homestand at the Zenith during Week 10, you'll receive the Paris Eternal tag but also the tags of the other nine teams in the Batch 2 (Atlanta Reign, San Francisco Shock, London Spitfire, Los Angeles Valiant, Toronto Defiant, Boston Uprising, Vancouver Titans, Los Angeles Gladiators & Chengdu Hunters).
Batch 1 team tags:
- New York Excelsior
- Dallas Fuel
- Shanghai Dragons
- Philadelphia Fusion
- Guangzhou Charge
- Washington Justice
- Hangzhou Spark
- Houston Outlaws
- Seoul Dynasty
- Florida Mayhem
Batch 2 team tags:
- Atlanta Reign
- San Francisco Shock
- London Spitfire
- Paris Eternal
- Los Angeles Valiant
- Toronto Defiant
- Boston Uprising
- Vancouver Titans
- Los Angeles Gladiators
- Chengdu Hunters
The tags will be distributed via codes by the host teams to those on site. Buying a ticket doesn't give you the team tags and you must be present and attend the games to get your exclusive tags from Battle.net.
When the Overwatch League 2020 begins?
The competition will begin on Saturday, February 8 at 10 am (PDT) at the Manhattan Center in New York City and Arlington, Texas. Toronto Defiant and Paris Eternal will open the ball rolling.
