Format
Group Stage
- The 24 teams have been split into four groups of six.
- They will play three matches.
- The first two games are 1v1 matches on Xbox and PlayStation while the third and final game will be played in a 2v2 format.
- Each team has designated their preferred console before the tournament. A random on-site draw will determine which of the consoles will be used.
- Teams will earn 0 points for a loss, one for a draw and three for a win.
- Teams have the chance to win a total of nine points.
Knockout Stage
- The top four teams from each group will advance into the knockout stages of the tournament. The knockout stage starts with the round of 16 and ends with the grand final of the tournament.
- The teams will compete with two legs to a match, the first being a 1v1 and the second being a 2v2 contest.
- If one team wins the first match and the other team wins the second match or both matches end in a draw, a third and final 1v1 will determine the winner.
- In the second game, the choice of console will be based on the performance of the team throughout the tournament.
