Once again, the Covid-19 is affecting the League of Legends esports scene. After having decided to move the LEC 2020 Spring Split Playoffs from Budapest to the LEC Studio, Riot Games also chose to take some measures to surround the LCS. Until further notice, fan meets, victory high-fives and post-games handshakes are suspended. Riot Games are offering a refund for people that might be disappointed by these precautions.
It remains to be seen if the LCS Playoffs will be affected or not. While we hardly imagine that they could be relocated anywhere, the eventuality of making them happen without a live crowd is sadly a real possibility.
In any case, the LCS returns this afternoon with Cloud9 vs Team SoloMid!
