Riot Games will make several modifications to Vanguard, Valorant anti-cheat system. Rather criticized lately, it's at the heart of a Reddit post where several developers participated in a Q&A.

VanguardValorant anti-cheat system — is more than expected. If it were to fail to work properly, the in-game experience could quickly become disastrous for all players and ruin several years of development for Riot Games. From what we've already seen, it seems that lots of resources were largely put in Vanguard — making it almost too punitive as Mixwell has found out.

Over the last few days, a number of players have been complaining about conflicts generated by the software, bugs in other games, or a tendency for Vanguard to be a bit too intrusive. Whether those comments are true or not, Riot Games once again spoke to clarify the situation and propose solutions that we hope will be sustainable.

Valorant Patch Notes 0.49 to be deployed

Patch Notes 0.49 will soon be deployed in Valorant. As the game is still only in its beta version, the update is mainly made of bug fixes but it also adds the "Competitive mode" button.
