With each new Hearthstone expansion, there is also a new adventure — and Ashes of Outland will make no exception to that rule.
According to Outof.cards, players will embark into a journey to the Black Temple, a famous location of World of Warcraft's Shadowmoon Valley, in Outland.
A bit of lore
The Black Temple is a threatening place in the devastated lands of Outland. Formerly called Temple of Karabor, it was a sacred site of the Draenei, and one of the first targets of the massacre perpetrated by the orcs who had been corrupted by the demons. The Shadow Council then took possession of the place and renamed it the Black Temple.
There are many important characters from the last expansion. Akama in particular is one of the rare Draenei to have been able to escape from this massacre. The place was attacked by Illidan Stormrage, the Naga Vashj, the blood elf Kael'thas, the Draenei Akama and their troops, in order to dislodge Magtheridon, who had taken possession of it..

Along the adventure, you'll apparently meet some characters that will eventually transform into Demon Hunters. Some of these cards don't have text yet, meaning they're certainly placeholders for now.
