As announced a few days ago, new information on Pokémon Sword and Shield fell today at 3 p.m. On the different YouTube channels of the franchise, you can find a brand new trailer for the first DLC on Nintendo Switch.
The Isle of Armor - Release Date and Information
The Isle of Armor is the name of the first paid expansion for Pokémon Sword and Shield. As a reminder, you can pre-order the two extensions directly on the Nintendo eshop or on the official Pokémon site.
In the trailer, which you can watch above, we finally learn the official release date of the extension: June 17, 2020
Here is a summary of the most important information you should not miss:
- A Galarian Slowbro will be available (in addition to the Slowpoke that we already knew)
- Venusaur and Blastoise in Gigantamax form
- The DLC will be released on June 17
- By looking closely at the trailer, you will be able to spot many Pokémon of the previous generations making their comeback in the DLC
