During the EA Play Live event, EA Sports has revealed that FIFA 21 will be arriving on the next generation of consoles.
The next instalment of the storied football franchise, typically released towards the end of September, has been spotted on the Steam store with an October 9th release date for the standard edition.
Although no official release date has been confirmed by EA, it did confirm the introduction of Duel Entitlement.
What is Duel Entitlement?
Duel Entitlement will ensure players won't need to buy two copies of the game. EA has partnered with both Microsoft and Sony, enabling players that buy the game on PS4 and Xbox One to upgrade to PS5 and Xbox Series X at no additional cost.
All progress will carry over so there's no need to worry whether your Ultimate Team squad will carry over to the next generation.
