We learned yesterday that Cyberpunk 2077 has been postponed by 2 months due to complications in the bug-solving phase. The game is now scheduled for November 19.
But we learn today, following a call with investors that Adam Kicinski, the president of CD Projekt Red is indeed planning a release on next gen-consoles, PS5 and Xbox Series X.
We therefore understand that this will not be a version developed for the new generation, but it's indeed a version boosted by the architecture of the consoles, at least for now. Indeed, can expect a big upgrade in 2021 to bring the versions developed for next-gen consoles.
Regarding multiplayer, it will not be right away, CD Project Red wants above all to focus on the solo part and the first expansion. The Polish studio plans more a launch of the multiplayer mode in 2022 at the earliest, ouch.
As a reminder, Cyberpunk 2077 will be available on November 19 (fingers crossed) on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC.
