The news hit the headlines and spread like wildfire within the League of Legends community. It is quite surprising to see roster changes right at the beginning of the Summer Split, but Kim "Olleh" Joo-sung is leaving America, and the LCS, to return in his homeland, South Korea.
Olleh joined the LCS in 2017 after being recruited by Immortals as Support, only to achieve mixed results during his first season. He then joined Team Liquid, with which he raised the LCS trophy twice. His journey into the League esports scene then led him to Golden Guardians but hie was actually struggling to perform. From the main roster to the Academy team, with a quick four months loan within Dignitas Academy, over the past years, Olleh was oscillating — to the point he became GG and GGS Academy coach in early June, before announcing his departure.
It remains to be seen what Olleh will now dow — but the players didn't mention what he will do next. With the LCK translating to a franchise model, he might really find a spot within one of the teams of the league...
