Overwatch League: Vancouver Titans partnership with Circle K

It's a new partnership that has been announced for an Overwatch League team! Vancouver Titans and Circle K renew agreement, building on relationship established during inaugural Titans season.

Tim Holloway, Director of the Vancouver Titans Esports: "We are thrilled to have Circle K as an integral part of the Titans family; they have been supporting us and our fans since day one and we look forward to doing bigger and better things through our partnership."

This partnership should be even more exciting than last year, and will create more things for Vancouver Titans fans. Circle K will be prominently displayed on the players' jerseys in the same manner as it was worn at the 2019 Overwatch League Grand Finals. This partnership will feature the limited edition "Titans Froster" glasses featuring members of the new Vancouver Titans team.

Dave Greason, Director of Marketing and Merchandising at Circle K Western Canada: "We’re excited to be able to continue our partnership with the Titans. We have all been through so much these past few months and we can’t wait to add back some FUN into our new normal. We are lucky to be part of this immensely passionate gaming community. Gaming used to be niche, but now it is mainstream. We’re looking forward to engaging with this community in new ways."

There will also be "content" available for fans to get to know the team's new players, as well as a digital scavenger hunt later in the season. All of this will be available through an association with Jack Links who will be involved in the creation of all these programs alongside Circle K and Vancouver Titans.

This kind of partnership is to be welcomed. It means more money for the organization, actions that benefit the fans and new ways for them to support their favorite team. With the homestands, Blizzard had already shown that it wanted to anchor the teams in their hometowns, but the year was more complicated than expected. These different ways of keeping local fans loyal shows that the editor is trying to take advantage of the situation as best it can.
