Surely, playing League of Legends is great, and watching the League of Legends European Championship also is — but managing your own LEC roster and earn points with the LEC Fantasy League brings something more to the competition.
Our team has dissected the upcoming matches, and here are the two compositions we crafted to ensure that you'll get some points. Obviously, we're only basing our compositions on 'normal' cards: if you were to have cards from other rarities, feel free to adapt our suggestions to your own line-ups.
On Friday, we'll see two clashes at the top of the LEC as MAD Lions meet Origen, and Fnatic face Rogue. It's hard to predict exactly the results of these matches, as all of these teams displayed some inconsistent performances over the two previous weeks. The same goes for the bottom of the table: Excel do battle with Schalke, but both teams are so underperforming right now that it's hard to figure out which one will prevail.
Vitality and Misfits are both capable of the best and the worst, and their future also seems hard to predict. The only thing we can safely assume is the victory of G2 over SK Gaming. Even though it might sound like a bold prediction, the returning Champions and multiple European champions seem to be back on track to assert dominance over the LEC.
Without more rambling, here are the two compositions we suggest you run in order to optimize your chance of earning points.
Betting on MAD Lions and G2
We took the bet to trust MAD Lions and their current winning streak. The team has been growing steadily since the beginning of the year and seems stronger than Origen, who has already tripped twice against teams reputed to be weak.
Regarding G2, it is obviously one of the easiest matches to predict during this very complicated week. They should have no problem winning against SK Gaming. Despite a quite disastrous Super Week, the reigning European champions reassured everyone in Week 2 by crushing their opponents without difficulty.
Playing around Selfmade
Over the five games he played alongside Fnatic, Oskar "Selfmade" Boderek achieved impressive stats, especially on his Lee Sin. Although Rogue performed extremely, they haven't played against the top LEC teams yet except G2 against whom they lost.
If Fnatic manage to draft properly this week, defeating Rogue shouldn't be a problem — and the consistent role of Selfmade in Fnatic's victory will certainly earn you some points.
The rest of the composition is a safe bet, as Marek "Humanoid" Brázda and Matyáš "Carzzy" Orság are definitely strong contenders for the MVP title this split. In a fashion way, betting on Martin "Wunder" Nordahl Hansen and Mihael "Mikyx" Mehle can't be a bad idea.
