It's been months since the name of Yone, Yasuo's brother, has been mentioned as a potential new champion to join League of Legends. If so far, nothing has been formalized, new leaks seem to confirm this theory. He could even be the 150th champion, just after Lillia.
A leak of what seems to be Yone's first skin on the brand new Spirit Blossom skin lin was relayed on Twitter by Jumaralo Hex, one of Riot Games content creators. If his status isn't enough to entirely legitimate what he advocates, it seems to assume anyway that this skin does exist.
Riot Games explained that Spirit Blossom skins were intended to have the same scale in the League universe than Star Guardians. According to the editor Kiritoxzn, who has since posted a new look at what Yone might look like, these skins would be part of an in-game event scattered on four different patch cycles, i.e. two months.
In addition, Riot Games already confirmed they wanted to release two champions during a big summer event. All the signs seem to gather and confirm the imminent arrival of Yasuo's brother in the Rift.
Dataminers also discovered in the Patch 1.15 client files a vocal interaction between Spirit Blossom Thresh and... Yone.
But how do you bring Yone back to life since he was killed by his brother?
Just like Senna, it would be easy to use Thresh as a bridge to resurrect a champion from the dead. Yone could also no longer be really human, in a state straddling life and death and have embraced a more spooky, more spectral form.
Even if the rumor becomes more persistent than ever, keep in mind that without official confirmation from Riot Games, all this information is to be taken cautiously.
