Matchmaking was supposed to be fixed with Patch 1.05, however it seems like Riot Games forgot to toggle the fix until recently.

Valorant: Team Matchmaking has been updated

It was yet to be added to Valorant and Riot Games finaly released a team matchmaking system. This system should put teams of 2 to 5 players against teams with the same numbers of players just like League of Legends.

This system was supposed to be included in Patch 1.05 but it looks like Riot Games forgot to press the button.

The system should now be working properly and match teams of same size together even if the queues get a little longer.

We don't yet if Valorant is planning on creating a dedicated queue for teams like on League of Legends or if the plan is to keep going like the actual system also used in CS:GO for example.
