Three short months after getting noticed by the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive community, Aurimas “Bymas” Pipiras decided to join mousesports, which will now operate with a six-player roster.
Last May, FaZe Clan went to look for this rough diamond to compensate for the decline of the legendary Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer Gustafsson, still inactive at the present time. A real surprise, the young Lithuanian player having never really indicated his position on the radars so far, he who had never played for a leading organization before.
While only having a stand-in status, Bymas played several tournaments with Faze Clan, for rather average results. If he can be individually satisfied with himself — his experience taking being far from ridiculous — FaZe Clan aspired to better results collectively speaking. This is why the team decided to release him, with the aim of letting him continue his progression elsewhere and at the same time strengthen himself with an even more experienced element in the person of Markus " Kjaerbye " Kjærbye.
A "bankable" hope and a system of replacements
For mousesports, this recruitment choice means that the team will now run with 6 players, like Astralis. We do not yet know how the rotations will be carried out, but with this deeper workforce, the team offers itself more possibilities in competition or training.
In addition, mousesports is investing in the future here. Two of the organization veterans, namely Finn “ karrigan ” Andersen and Chris “ chrisJ ” de Jong, turned 30 this year; almost twice the age of their new teammate. They should be able to bring him a lot of experience — and why not replace them on the day of their retirement...
