An absolutely monster performance from Natus Vincere saw them rocket up the leaderboard on the final day of the PUBG Continental Series 2 Group Stage.
The three-week-long Group Stage saw Europe's best teams battling for a spot in the $200,000 Grand Final, and Na'Vi timed their run to perfection to emphatically seal their spot in style.
With Winstreak heading up perennial challengers Team Liquid and Northern Lights going into the final day, it was tight at the top — just eleven points separated the top six before the day's play got underway.
FaZe stormed to a 16-kill first game win on Miramar, ending in a tense battle with themselves and Liquid as the last two standing. With Ivan "ubah" Kapustin looking hungry and on fire, the 26-point result rocketed them up the leaderboard, setting the tone for the rest of the day.
Etiget Esports then took a much-needed chicken dinner in the second Miramar match, to keep them in contention for a Grand Final spot.
Then, it was time for Na'Vi to shine. The final Miramar map saw them coast to a win with all four members still alive, before the action turned to Erangel.
A Military Base war erupted as the last four teams standing just so happened to be the top four — FaZe Clan, Northern Lights, Team Liquid and Natus Vincere — and while it looked like FaZe would clean up in passing the ten-kill mark, the CIS side had other ideas and earned their second win in succession.
With Na'Vi hungry for more, they annihilated Liquid twice on the way to 11-kill and 13-kill wins, ending the day with a monstrous 55 kills and a stunning 106-point haul in total.
By contrast, that one-day effort was more points than the bottom four teams managed each across the entire Group Stage...
The qualifiers now have a two-week break before the Grand Final begins on Saturday, August 29.
Three weekends of play (Sat-Sun) lie before the squads and getting their hands on a share of that mighty prize pool — see you then!
