The Overwatch League Grand Finals is coming up. This year, Overwatch teams have been forced to play online, split between two regions — Asia and North America. This was the perfect opportunity to double the fun and have two all All-Stars events this season. All-Stars Asia will take place on Saturday, September 26, followed by All-Stars North America on Saturday, October 3.
All-Star events will be broadcast live and available on demand on the League YouTube channel, website and application. You'll be able to earn tokens throughout the events.
Public vote
The choice of players is up to the public this year. You have until August 28 to vote for your four favorite players in each position (DPS, Tank and Support) and for each region (Asia and North America).
The top 18 vote-getters from each region will qualify for their respective All-Stars events. The results of the votes will be announced in September. To vote, you have to go here.
Event format
If any changes can still be made between now and then, the two All-Stars events will consist of the following matches:
- T-Mobile Talent Takedown — Broadcast talent play a 6v6 match in a 3-map set.
- Widowmaker 1v1 Tournament — Top players compete in a 1v1 headshots-only format.
- All-Star Game — Pros play a 6v6 match in a 3-map set.
T-Mobile will be awarding the 2020 OWL MVP title at the end of this tournament.
