Games Done Quick is a foundation which aims to raise funds for various associations. For several days, speedrunners from all over the world come together live to complete games as quickly as possible while showing off their glitches and tips.
This Summer Games Done Quick was affected by the explosion of coronavirus cases, first leading to a postponement and then a cancellation of the physical edition.
Finally, the organization opted for an online charity marathon, which was a real success since after a week of speedrun, more than $ 2.3 million were raised for the association Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières.
