It's via the EuroGamer site that we learn that the mega-evolutions may land this week. Teased by the official game account via stones serving this feature in the Sixth Generation region, their arrival was to be expected but maybe not so soon.
Which Mega Evolutions are coming this week?
They are four: Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur and Beedrill.
They will come with raids dedicated to the mega-evolutions of the starters of the first generation and a quest for the mega-evolution of Beedrill.
During the month of September, a whole bunch of events will take place in play to celebrate the arrival of this feature.
August is soon finished and Niantic has revealed the various events that will take place in September. Regarding the reward of the Research Breakthrough, you'll be able to encounter Alolan Raichu!
