Halo Infinite: Microsoft denies rumors of postponement to 2022 and cancellation on Xbox One

For several weeks, rumors have circulated on ResetEra about Halo Infinite. Insider Sponger reported that, according to his sources, Microsoft and 343 Industries were considering important licensing decisions.

The first rumor was about a new postponement of the title, already postponed to 2022 because of the disappointment of the players during the gameplay broadcast at the Xbox Games Showcase.

The second rumor talked about the Xbox One port being dropped in favor of development on the Xbox Series X.

The head of 343 community, John Junyszek, denied these rumors by denouncing the "false leaks". He confirmed that Halo Infinite will indeed be ported to Xbox One and that the postponement to 2021 will not be extended further.
