After a long time waiting and a wide assortment of theories, Blizzard has finally revealed the release date for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, the eighth expansion to its cult MMORPG, during Gamescom 2020. It'll be available on October 27, 2020.

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands will available worldwide on October 27, 2020 at 12:01 a.m. PST.

Blizzard has kept its promise: the eighth extension of WoW has not been postponed by COVID-19, or in any case not beyond the deadline of the end of 2020 which was originally announced during the BlizzCon 2019 .

This specific date isn't a coincidence, since this is the time of year when BlizzCon usually takes place.

Prepare yourselves, the call of Shadowlands is now more pressing and insistent than ever, and there will be no turning back as of October 27.
