EA has just announced a new partnership program to expand Apex Legends esports. Twelve different organizations are already teaming up, and among them we can name Complexity, Rogue, Sentinels, T1, Team Liquid, or TSM.
We don't know yet what this partnership will be exactly about but it means that a focus on the esports aspect of the game will be made in the coming months and years. These organizations will surely support team health and growth, while strengthening the program for players and audiences.
If we compare with others esports partnerships, it could well mean that in-game cosmetics for the characters or weapons, in the colors of professional teams, will be created.
EA also has made available a survey that any organization can fill out if they want to participate in the ALGS Program. This initiative is a way for the company to strengthen its financial position regarding esports while developing it.
Despite the health crisis the world is currently living — and the fact that every competitions and events have to be online this year — we can imagine that Apex will return to the forefront of the FPS competitive scene in 2021.
