Marvel's Avengers landed yesterday on the consoles of many superhero fans, starting at midnight for console players and then today at the end of the day for PC players. A final War Table airing yesterday told us more about the end-game of the game, as well as the schedule of free content updates that will come after the game's release. The official release will be, as planned, on September 4 and then on PS5 and Xbox Series X once the consoles are available.

You can find the details of all these collector's editions in our dedicated article. Now the server upload time depends on the medium you purchased the game on as shown below:
- PS4: on the night of August 31 to September 1 at midnight
- Xbox One: on the night of August 31 to September 1 at midnight
- PC: September 1 at 6 p.m.
For digital editions, no need to plan additional time to download the 18gb of the day one patch, it is already included in the initial download: this only concerns the physical editions of the game.
A pretty sizeable patch, weighing in at 18 GB, will need to be downloaded on release day for Marvel's Avengers. It should fix many bugs and optimization issues, among other things.
