Barcelona star Lionel Messi has been the main subject of the most recent transfer window. Many thought he would be leaving the Nou Camp to join Manchester City after disagreements with the Barcelona chairman and the board of the club.
After plenty of speculation, the Argentine star decided to stay at the club for one more season.
There have been occasions where FIFA games have correctly predicted the future, and some players have found something that may concern fans of one of the greatest players of all time.
In Career Mode, it appears that Messi is going to hang up his boots at the end of the first season. Typically, EA Sports uses algorithms to predict when a footballer is going to retire.
While his real-world future may be up in the air, Messi retires after the first Career Mode season.
Something of a similar nature happened years ago. The opening season of Career Mode didn't allow players to start their career with a Premier League team and in season two, everyone wanted to be the boss of Newcastle United, thanks to superstar striker Alan Shearer.
Players were unable to use him as he was set to retire at the end of the first season. Could the same happen to Messi this year?
