After it was revealed that OpTic Gaming founder Hector "H3CZ" Rodriguez had managed to buy the IP from the Immortals Gaming Club, it looks like he has sold it to long-time friend and 100 Thieves founder Matt "Nadeshot" Haag.
First reported by Dexerto, 100 Thieves is set to enter the Call of Duty League (CDL) having bought the franchise slot previously held by OpTic Gaming Los Angeles.
Sources have reported that OGLA will undergo a rebrand to the Los Angeles Thieves ahead of the beginning of the Black Ops Cold War season.
With the second Los Angeles slot sold to 100T, this may enable H3CZ to rebrand the Chicago Huntsmen franchise to the OpTic brand.
We will have to wait for an official announcement but this is extremely exciting news for both 100 Thieves and Call of Duty fans!
