Initially released in 2018 on PS4 by Sony Interactive Entertainment Santa Monica, God of War will be coming soon on PS5 with God of War Remastered.

God of War PS5's remaster is eagerly awaited by many fans of the license. As announced by Studio Santa Monica today, the game will be able to run at up to 60 frames per second on Sony's new console, as long as you choose the "Favor Performance" video option.

Whether you’re picking up the game for the first time or looking to finish that NG+ save, God of War (2018) on the #PS5 will offer:

Another piece of good news: players who have already played the game on PS4 will be able to transfer their saves to the PS5.

God of War III Remastered will benefit from the same treatment.

These two games could certainly keep fans of the license busy while waiting for the next opus in the series, God of War: Ragnarok, scheduled for 2021.
