Between consoles and exclusive games, there's been a significant battle going on between Sony and Microsoft, both manufacturers are trying to get the upper hand wherever they can.
Sony has big exclusives within certain games, such as the Capcom Pro Tour for the PlayStation console-exclusive Street Fighter V and the Call of Duty League, and through AAA games such as Demon's Souls and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
Microsoft, on the other hand, has Game Pass and attractive offers for the community, while the recent acquisition of Bethesda is just one of a whole raft that will throw up some interesting possibilities in the future.
However, Sony does not intend to sit back in the face of Microsoft's acquisitions, as Jim Ryan revealed that potential buyouts of their own are on the horizon. He failed to reveal any details, however, so it's anyone's guess as to what will come to pass.
