Korea's VRLU Ghibli proved to be the PUBG frag masters on Day 1 of PCS3 Asia, building a seven-point lead after the first four matches.

Four different teams claimed chicken dinners on Day 1 of the PUBG Continental Series 3 Asia tournament, as a clear top three established themselves as the teams to beat.

With a minimum of $200,000 on the line, you could predict the competition would be fierce — and we weren't wrong!

PCS3 Asia — Match 1 Results

China's Tianba esports took the first win on Miramar, a fantastic one-man show from M200 after having lost the rest of his team pretty early on in the contest.

With the top four situation being 2v2v1v1, M200 secured the high ground in a mountain-side circle against Multi Circle Gaming's Tanki995 - who took down the two remaining members of Korea's OP.GG Sports.

PCS3 Asia — Match 2 Results

This match saw a more chaotic final, with a 4v4v3 in the final circles. With 14 kills in total it was VRLU Ghibli who took the dinner.

They took advantage of Griffin and Multi Circle Gaming decimating each other, leaving a simple clean-up task for the Koreans.

PCS3 Asia — Match 3 Results

Korean powerhouses OGN Entus took the win in Match 3, edging out Chinese side NewHappy in a thrilling battle. With 17 kills, NewHappy scored a mammoth 23 points, while Multi Circle Gaming showed incredible consistency to make it three-for-three in podium finishes.

PCS3 Asia — Match 4 Results

In Match 4, it was another Korean giant who took the glory. Afreeca Freecs dominated proceedings, securing 14 kills and 11 more points than the #2 team, VRLU Ghibli. OGN Entus rounded out an all-Korean top three, with China's NewHappy adding to their points total with a respectable fourth.

PCS3 Asia Standings — Day 1

Here is the state of play after the first four matches of PCS3 Asia. Ghibli lead from Multi Circle and OGN Entus, with NewHappy a further seven behind.

With 19 points separating first and fifth, it's a great start for the Ghibli team — who qualified for PCS3 as the Korean fifth seed.

With another twenty games to play, however, there's still all to play for!
