Day 2 of the PUBG Continental Series 3 Asia tournament saw the lead change hands, as several movers and shakers made their play (or didn't) for the ultimate chicken dinner.
Chinese side Multi Circle Gaming built on their second place overnight, closely followed by OGN Entus and Tianba esports, while VLRU Ghibli suffered a terrible day to end in fifth place.
PCS3 Asia — Match 5 Results
The first match of the day was a piece of cake for Tianba esports, as they claimed 15 frags in a 25-point haul.
They were followed by DetonatioN Gaming White, the Japanese side the only other to score double-digit points, while OGN Entus secured a third-place finish. However, securing a solitary kill limited their points-scoring.
PCS3 Asia — Match 6 Results
China's biggest team, Four Angry Men, secured their first win of PCS3 Asia in Match 6, taking down Ghibli, Tianba and OGN Entus to claim the chicken.
However, it was a tight game - no one team dominated the kill feed - although Ghibli could have done better than a solitary frag.
PCS3 Asia — Match 7 Results
4AM made it back-to-back wins in Match 7, and this one was much more clear cut than the last. With 14 kills - the only team to reach double digits for frags - they secured 24 points to help their charge up the table.
INFANTRY claimed silver in the match, while Ghibli proved to be the survival experts yet again with yet another single-frag game to take third.
PCS3 Asia — Match 8 Results
The final match of the day saw Multi Circle Gaming finally claim a win following some very consistent performances. They secured 12 frags in a 22-point haul to move them to the top of the overall table.
Petrichor Road claimed a first top-three finish in a match, as they headed off Afreeca Freecs and INFANTRY.
PCS3 Asia Standings — Day 2
With one third of the matches played, it's Multi Circle Gaming who assume the summit of the PCS3 Asia standings. They hold a nine-point lead over OGN Entus, with Tianba a further point behind.
Meanwhile, the big mover was 4AM, who recovered from a pretty abysmal opening day by their standards — ending down in ninth place — to place fourth, just two points behind Tianba.
The PCS3 Asia action resumes next week, while North America Day 2 gets under way later this evening.
