Awesome Games Done Quick, a speedrunning organization that raises money for charity, has released the schedule for its 2021 Winter event.
The organization features the best speedrunners around and works with charities like Doctors Without Borders and the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
Next year's event runs from January 3 to January 10 and will be online due to COVID, but that won't stop the hype.
AGDQ 2021 Standouts
On January 3rd at 1:03 PM ET, streamers Eazinn and DadLovesBeer will speedrun Donkey Kong Country any% with no major skips.
For fans of Dishonored 2, DemonicRobots is going to stream the game with Corvo on PC at Any% on Jan. 4.
Things really heat up on January 9 with an all dungeons run of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past at 6:37 PM, followed by a Super Mario Bros. 35 battle showcase at 8 PM, and a Pokémon Blue catch 'em all stream at 10:30 PM.
Later in the month, both little-known games like Demolition Man for the SNES and well-known retro titles like Wario Land 4 and Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden coins will enter the spotlight.
